As the crispness of fall settles in, it’s the perfect season to gather around a table, share stories, over unbeatable food flavours and specially curated wine. That’s exactly what Fall Into Spice is all about - a curated dining experience that celebrates the vibrant spices, rich cultures, and extraordinary wines that tell stories from around the world.
This year, I’m incredibly excited to launch the series with an intimate dinner at Afrobeat Kitchen on October 28th.
Fall Into Spice at Afrobeat Kitchen
Date - October 28th
Time: 6:30 pm
Details: South African themed menu (7 food courses, paired with 7 wines, plus welcome cocktail)
Price: $100 per person
We’re diving into South Africa’s diverse culinary scene with a menu crafted by the remarkable Chef Victor Ugwueke, whose Nigerian heritage infuses the feast with incredible depth.
Each of the seven courses is thoughtfully paired with South African wines that showcase the country’s unique terroir and winemaking traditions, These are wines that deserve to be explored and enjoyed alongside such bold cuisine.
What makes Fall Into Spice special?
It’s the warmth and intimacy of a small chef’s table experience, only 15 seats in this case, where every bite, sip, and conversation feels personal. With limited space, I encourage you to get your tickets early!
Joining you on this journey as your sommelier, I’ve selected wines that complement and elevate each course, adding another layer to the story on your plate. Expect flavours that surprise, textures that delight, and wines that bring it all harmoniously together.
At $100, your ticket covers all seven courses, expertly paired wines, and a welcome cocktail to set the tone for the evening. I invite you to reserve your seat and Fall Into Spice with us this October, where great food, fine wine, and unforgettable company come together in a celebration of flavour and culture.
Stay tuned for more events in the series as we continue exploring the world’s spices and wines, one dinner at a time.
Cheers,
Beverly Crandon
