About Spice Food & Wine Event Team

The Spice Food & Wine Series is just that; a series of food and wine tastings that highlight the beauty in ethnicity, cuisine, and wine. 

 

Imagine taking a wine made in Hungary and pairing it with an Eritrean dish or a wine made in Burgundy, and pairing it with a dish from Trinidad. This is what the Spice Food & Wine Series is.

 

​We pair the spices we love with the wines we love and build new and inclusive narratives around wine.

 

The team behind Spice Food & Wine are individuals from the African-Caribbean Diaspora. Our passion is wine, and our heart is in spreading that love of wine to our respective communities. 

 

Our culinary food and wine events give the community a chance to see how tropical and ethnic cuisines and wine can be a match made in heaven.

 

This is a one-of-a-kind culinary event series for Toronto as we focus on both food and wine flavours and pair the wines we love with the spices we love.
